CRYSTAL FINCHER

Founder & Principal

Crystal Fincher is the Principal of Fincher Consulting, LLC, a full service political consulting firm. Crystal has helped local, legislative and statewide candidate campaigns, levies, and initiatives win in Washington, California, Nevada. Fincher Consulting has helped advocacy organizations and local political organizations develop and deploy successful strategies to increase community representation, inclusion, engagement and turnout, particularly in underrepresented areas and among infrequent voters. Additionally, Crystal is the Political Director for Persist PAC, a member of the American Association for Public Opinion Research, and hosts Hacks & Wonks on KVRU FM and KODX FM (also available in your favorite podcast player).

Crystal's background in economic development and civic policy has informed her political career. Crystal served on the City of Kent Land Use & Planning Board as the first African-American and youngest member in its history. Crystal has served as a Deputy on the Washington Roundtable, on the boards of the Kent Youth and Family Services, the Northwest Association of Financial Professionals, and Tabor 100 as the Economic Development Chair. She resides in Kent, WA.

DR. SHANNON CHENG

Data Analyst & Project Manager

With a deep background in engineering and a passion for grassroots organizing, Shannon is thrilled to bring her diverse experience to Fincher Consulting. 


Dr. Shannon Cheng is the Chair of People Power WA - Police Accountability, which champions policies that divest from police and reinvest in community-based solutions and alternate crisis response, decriminalize non-serious offenses, and implement accountability and enforceable standards for police officers and agencies. Shannon was instrumental in the passage of the 2020 King County charter amendments to reform public safety, and has been organizing in support of civil liberties — from immigrants’ rights to voting rights to criminal justice reform.

Shannon holds a Bachelor and Master of Science in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She continued her graduate work at MIT and earned a PhD in Space Propulsion with a Minor in Geology/Geophysics because she loves rocks.

  

Shannon lives on a boat in Seattle, WA with her husband and cat.

BRYCE CANNATELLI

Executive Assistant

Erica Bryce Cannatelli is an Arizona native and former LA resident who’s taken up home in Seattle, WA. After graduating from ASU’s Barrett Honors College, Bryce worked in online marketing while volunteering for local Democratic campaigns. Since moving to Seattle, Bryce has gotten more involved in campaign volunteering and progressive activism. In 2022, she was accepted into Emily’s List’s IGNITE Change Fellowship, where she began to learn Democratic campaign strategies. She’s committed to advocating for social justice, establishing more protections for LGBTQ+ peoples, and pursuing equitable economic reforms. 


Bryce is excited to use her media and communications background to support progressive causes and make measurable change with Fincher Consulting!
